Today was Veteran's Day so we decided to go hang out with Sarah. We went to Kiwanas Park in Tempe and fed the ducks and played all afternoon. Then we went to Sarah's apartment for dinner. We had a great time. Now it's back to reality!!!

The Annual Boo Bash

About a week before Halloween our family got together for the ASU East Campus Annual Boo Bash. The kids all dressed up and looked "fabulous"! Alicia cooked a marvelous dinner of homemade chili con carne and hot dogs...yummy! We then went to the Boo Bash. We had a great time as we participated in the trunk or treat, booths, and train ride. Steven's pumpkin was the best and won first place with a bag of goddies as the prize. We were worn out by the end of the night, but enjoyed being together!

A fun day at the zoo

It's fall break and we went to the zoo. The weather was beautiful. We visited the petting zoo, went on the Safari Train Ride around the zoo, and even rode the camel. We had a nice picnic lunch and as you can see from the pictures below....the best animals don't live at the zoo, but do visit!!!

Rachael's Surprise Party

Rachael's birthday is September 25th and I decided to throw a surprise birthday party for her. I asked Johnny, her boyfriend to be my co-conspirator. We held the party at Sarah's apartment. We had a Mexican feast of beef and chicken fajitas, rice, and beans and a scrumptious chicken cheese nacho dip prepared by Sarah and Alicia. After we stuffed ourselves we worked all those extra calories off by playing volleyball. We had a great time and btw...we really did surprise Rachael. She is 17 now!!!
